Hydrant Flushing
The Water Department will be conducting hydrant flushing starting on Monday
April 6, 2015 from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The program will take appoximately 5
weeks.
Starting area by week:
WEEK ONE: Van Dam area
WEEK TWO: Ryerson Ave area
WEEK THREE: Rafkind road area
WEEK FOUR: Glenwild Ave area
WEEK FIVE: Star Lake and Vreeland Ave area working towards Mocopin Road.
Residents may expect some discolored water for a short period of time.
The water is not harmful to your health and this condition can be remedied
by allowing the cold water to run until clear.
