RFP for Payroll Services

THE BOROUGH OF BLOOMINGDALE

PASSAIC COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

REQUEST FOR PAYROLL SERVICE PROPOSALS

 

  1.  PURPOSE: To solicit proposals for the provision of payroll services for the Borough of Bloomingdale, County of Passaic, New Jersey.
  1. PAYROLL INFORMATION: The Borough of Bloomingdale, located in the north western portion of the county, has approximately 95 salaried employees and 25 seasonal employees on an annual basis.  The borough has 26 payroll periods per year.  The Borough requires mandatory direct deposit so live checks are infrequent. 
  1. SERVICES REQUESTED: 26 annual payrolls with paychecks delivered to the Borough.  A separate cost proposal is requested for third party expense charges including tax filing and a separate cost for pension report filing with the State of New Jersey.

 

Include the time and procedures involved to make change and be fully operational with new vendor.

Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, customer service availability and knowledge and use and ease of electronic payroll system.
