NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY AND PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ANNUAL ACTION PLANS OF CDBG FY 2022 AND CDBG FY 2023 GRANT AWARDS TO THE BOROUGH OF BLOOMINGDALE, NJ, PASSAIC COUNTY
Notice is hereby given by Passaic County that the Annual Action Plans for the Passaic County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) FY 2022 and FY 2023 will be amended to reflect a change in the scope of work for the grant awards for the Borough of Bloomingdale, NJ for FY 2022 ($90,000) and FY 2023 ($60,000). The grant awards will be amended to permit the rehabilitation of the Borough of Bloomingdale Senior Center flooring. A public hearing on the change in scope of work will be held both in-person and virtually at the same time and the new proposed scope of work will be available for inspection and comment from January 29, 2024 to February 28, 2024
The new scope of work will include reconstruction of the Bloomingdale Senior Center interior floor, including the sub-floor and finished flooring which is approximately 2,500 square feet; and replacement of adjacent interior, non-structural demising walls.

Copies of the new scope of work are available on-line at http://www.passaiccountynj.org and at the Department of Planning and Economic Development, 401 Grand Street, Room 417, Paterson, NJ 07505 and the Passaic County office of the Board of County Commissioners, 401 Grand Street, Paterson, NJ 07505, 2nd Floor, Clerk’s office and at the Borough of Bloomingdale, 101 Hamburg Turnpike, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403 and virtually at www.bloomingdalenj.net. All comments received by February 28, 2024 will be considered.
The new scope of work will be on public display for not less than 30 days before being submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for approval. In addition, Passaic County will hold a public hearing to accept comments on the proposed amendment to the CDBG FY 2022 and CDBG FY2023 Annual Action Plans. The public hearing will be held in-person and virtually simultaneously on Friday, February 16 at 12 p.m. 401 Grand Street, Room 417 Paterson, NJ 07505.
