The Bloomingdale Environmental Commission is happy to announce that the Passaic River Coalition has purchased the Decker property in an ongoing to effort to protect drinking water, preserve sensitive wildlife habitat, improve water quality, create new open space, and promote natural flood control management.

At the request of the Passaic River Coalition the Bloomingdale Environmental Commission is running a contest to rename this property in a manner that is representative of the spirit of Bloomingdale , the Jewel of Passaic County.

CONTEST RULES:
The contest to rename the Decker property is limited to Bloomingdale residents only. Entry forms either can be filled out on line (below) or by downloading and completing the contest form and either mailing it to or delivering it at :

Bloomingdale residents can submit unlimited entries. The winner will be announced on Pride Day at Delazier Field and will receive a certificate of appreciation from the Mayor and Council.

All entries must be submitted no later than September 23, 2010.
