SATURDAY HOURS FOR 2010 PRIMARY ELECTION

Paterson, NJ - The 2010 Primary Election is Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Voters may apply for a mail-in ballot in person up until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010, the day before the election. It is important to remember that in New Jersey, any voter can now vote by mail in any election. You do not need a reason to Vote by Mail. In order to obtain a mail-in ballot, you must be a registered voter in the County of Passaic and have your signature verified.

The County Clerk’s Office has a registered voter and signature verification system in the office, which will allow the voter to have all their voting needs accomplished here at our location, 401 Grand Street, Paterson, New Jersey, Room 130 and receive their ballot on the spot.

Any voter may also apply to Vote by Mail by Authorized Messenger. In order to serve as a Messenger for a voter, a messenger must be a registered voter in Passaic County or a family member.

The County Clerk’s Office will have staff available at 401 Grand Street, Room 130, Paterson, New Jersey on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for voters wishing to apply for a mail-in ballot in person and for those with last minute emergencies which prevent them from going to the polls.
