The Bloomingdale Free Public Library is guaranteed annual funding as 33 cents of every $1,000 in assessed property values goes to fund local public libraries by statute.

The 'Friends of the Library' is non-profit, volunteer citizens group that is dedicated to the support of this resource center for the entire community. The "Friends" encourage gifts and raise funds to help improve library services and facilities.
