PUBLIC NOTICE

OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF

THE BOROUGH OF BLOOMINGDALE

 

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT UNDER A NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT – SOURCEWELL (formerly known as NJPA)

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Bloomingdale intends to participate in NJPA contract #022217-NWF for ‘Fleet Management & Related Technology Solutions’ to purchase GPS Fleet Tracking software & equipment; and

 

WHEREAS, information regarding the contract may be found at the Municipal Clerk’s Office during regular business hours, as well as on the Borough’s website at www.bloomingdalenj.net & https://www.sourcewell-mn.gov/cooperative-purchasing/022217-nwf ; and

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Bloomingdale is a participating agency of the NJPA National Cooperative System (now known as Sourcewell) and the effective date of the contract term is June 1, 2017.

 

Contract Period:  June 1, 2017 through June 1, 2022; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Borough of Bloomingdale to make a contract award to Verizon Connect pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the National Joint Powers Alliance’s  (“NJPA”) (now known as Sourcewell) request for proposals as appropriate;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Bloomingdale is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 53:34-6.2(b)(3)
